That is exactly what drew us to The Jack O’Newbury, a new Berkshire destination that brings together beautiful surroundings, wonderful food and a fresh approach to countryside hospitality.
A new beginning
The vision of chef Dom Chapman and restaurateur Nigel Sutcliffe, The Jack O’Newbury has been lovingly brought back to life, combining the charm of a traditional British pub with a contemporary approach to dining and staying away.
With eleven individually designed bedrooms, a restaurant celebrating seasonal ingredients and a setting that embraces the surrounding countryside, it is somewhere to settle in, spend time together and enjoy a slower pace.
For us at Henley Naturals, it felt like a natural partnership. Both brands share an appreciation for the environment around us, the importance of thoughtful details and the way a beautifully considered space can make someone feel.
Finding the perfect scent
When we began collaborating with The Jack, we wanted to find a fragrance that would feel completely at home within its setting.
Scent is such an important part of the guest experience. Often without us even realising it, a fragrance becomes connected to a particular place or memory, bringing back the feeling of being somewhere long after we have left.
Our Still Waters blend brings together seven essential oils, each contributing something different to the overall fragrance.
Sweet orange brings a bright, uplifting freshness, softened by the gentle floral notes of geranium, palmarosa and lavender. Frankincense introduces a deeper, grounding quality, while black pepper adds a subtle warmth that gives the fragrance its character.
Together, they create a beautifully balanced scent that feels fresh yet comforting, with a quiet warmth that suits the relaxed and inviting atmosphere.

Guests staying at The Jack will experience our Still Waters collection through our Hand & Body Wash, Hand & Body Lotion, Shampoo and Conditioner.
Whether it's a refreshing shower before heading downstairs for breakfast or a moment to unwind after a long countryside walk, we hope the fragrance becomes a small but memorable part of their stay.
